1. Hold the Side and Volume Up or Volume Down keys together until two sliding buttons show on the screen.

2. Release the physical buttons and swipe right on the top of the screen's slide to the power-off button.

Maybe this will be easier if you can't commit the button combination to memory. Go to General in the Settings app and scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen. A button labeled Shut Down can be seen there. To turn your phone off, tap it and slide the power off toggle.
