Anyone who has shared their Netflix password knows how important it is to log out when everyone is done watching. Netflix is available on almost every device, including your smart TV. Once you've set up Netflix, it should remember your information and keep you signed in. And those who have access to your Netflix account can change your settings, stop you from watching while they are, or even mess up your recommendation algorithm. But if you forget to sign out of your account on someone else's device, Netflix makes it easy to sign out of all your accounts and devices, no matter what device you're on. Here's how to log out of Netflix on different devices.

How to log out of Netflix from all devices at once using a computer

You need to be on a web browser to log out of Netflix. This option is not yet available on the mobile app.

1. Open your favorite web browser, then go to Netflix.com and log into your account.

2. Choose "Account" from the drop-down menu on the far right side of the screen.

3. Under "Settings," select "Sign out of all devices." 

4. On the next page, be sure to click the "Sign Out" button to make sure that all devices are logged out. It may take up to eight hours to take effect, and it will affect all Netflix profiles.

5. After you click "Sign Out," you may be taken to the Netflix homepage, where you will need to sign in again with your credentials.

How to log out of Netflix on a mobile device

1. Open the Netflix app on your mobile device.

2. Tap the "More" icon in the lower right corner.

3. Select "Sign Out" at the bottom of the screen.

4. Tap "Yes" in the pop-up window to log out of the app.

How to log out of Netflix on a TV

On any TV, open the Netflix app and go to the home screen to log out. Then, use your remote's Left button to open the menu, scroll down, and choose "Get Help." The last step is to choose Sign Out and then Yes to confirm.

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. If you're not already on the home screen, press the Return button continuously on your remote to get to it. 

3. Press the Left button on your remote to open the menu.

4. Press the Down button on your remote to get to highlight Get Help. Once this option is highlighted, press the Select button.

5. Press the Down button to highlight Sign Out then press the Select button.

6. Highlight the Yes option to confirm you want to sign out then press the Select button.

How to Sign Out of Netflix on an iPhone or Android

1. Open Netflix on your iPhone or Android device.

2. After that, choose your user. You can skip this step if you are the only one who uses this account.

3. Tap your profile icon in the upper right corner.

4. Tap Sign Out. 

5. Tap Yes. If you're using an Android device, you'll need to tap Sign Out again.

How to Log Out of Netflix on a Computer App

If you are using the Netflix app on your computer, you can sign out by clicking the three dots in the upper right corner and then clicking Sign out at the bottom of the pop-up menu that appears.
